I really appreciate your way of thinking, and your insistence on working smarter not harder. The way you present basic principles and best practices in this channel really resonates with me, and has lifted my skills and abilities tremendously. Thank you for your work!

Nice new intro and I dig the cartoon avatar! Content was great too as always. I have found that reading my own mind is just as difficult.

Great video as always. I really enjoy that many of your videos are applicable to not only unity and game development, but all aspects of programming and sometimes even beyond. This video is a great example. Reading the minds of clients/customers/designers is one of the most important skills a developer can learn and makes your code cleaner and easier to handle. It also makes the requester happier since they got more than they asked for. Keep up the good work! You were a big influence on me starting my channel, and seeing how consistently good your videos are is a constant motivation for me.

Hey man, I like your videos and it seems like with this one you're adding more branding and a personal feel, that's fine, but I'd like to give you some friendly advice and criticism, specifically about editing and presentation.

First of all the thing that prompted me to write this at all - intro/outro music. I don't know how to say it, but it just screams RoyaltyFreeMusicNo17.mp3. It's just so generic and uninspired.
I'd recommend you switch it up for something that is a bit more upbeat and unique.
Why use some song that is made to be generic when there are thousands of unique music in free use. If you haven't already, try searching some random/related words on soundcloud (just avoid anything that was made specifically for commercial use) and filtering by creative commons license, there are tons of music just ready to be used.

Which leads me to the second part, intro length. 15 seconds is just too long, a good intro is a short one, <10 seconds (unless animated) so in your case maybe cut the floating screens and leave just the cartoon character, logo, and perhaps a video title.

Now the character looks amazing, but that text with such horrible font and garnish color is just bad. The one you have in your outro and banner is so stylish, use that one and it will make the whole "brand" more consistent.

And finally the flashing effects on the end-card are really unnecessary. If you're set on it then you should at least make it real subtle, like 10% opacity. Or if you just wanted to make the end-card more dynamic then making the background code behind the border overlay scroll slowly horizontally would also look good.

The reason I'm so concerned is that I don't want to introduce your channel to people with words "It looks cheap, but the content is excellent".
Anyway, hope this helps, looking forward for the next video.

where does that video (which is in the intro) come from - the one with catapults shooting from a castle?

Just to add to what some of the other commentators are saying, love the video content but not a fan of the intro / outro. Why not stick to the same style of intros / graphics as your mastery courses ? They're not perfect, but I think they represent your brand better. Looking forward to more great content from you !

You know I'm a fan. I'm no hater by a long shot. That said, I can't say I'm loving the new intro, although I do like the cartoon of you with the big beard. :) Also I am a font nerd and don't love the font choices for this video. On the other side, the content itself as usual is wonderful. Not sure if these minor criticisms matter that much to the bigger picture. I remain a fan. I just think these new things in this video specifically don't represent you and your valuable content as well as they could.

Love the Pantheon footage. I am really looking forward to trying out Brad McQuaid's newest project. It seems like he has gone back to his roots, which seems appropriate after the Vanguard debacle.
