Lol I wish you taught at DeVry.  Amazing. Quick question, if I get this $90 Harvard certificate is it for completing CS50 or the whole computer science course? Also, if employers call Harvard and ask for this certification will it count, like will it be Accredited.

Thank you David for making it so easy for me to learn Computer Science! I'm an undergraduate student majoring in business but I've always wanted to learn about CS. I've been trying to find ways to learn it, bought some books too but they all presumed that I had some background in CS even though they all were entitled as introductory books. Could you kindly suggest me as to how I can move forwards in this field after completing this course?

why can't I watch this video anywhere - not at edx, not at cs50tv and not here? All the others work fine.

All i can think about at the end of this video is how he programmed that box to create the beats.  It seems like he has those little nodes to the left which changes the the reference notes of the squares which seem to be like the execution nodes, and like, ugh man i just wanna how he did it.  Did he decompose the song and make it so each little thing was as specific beat and he just did it by feeling? or did he do it based on some mathematical algorithm.  COMPUTER SCIENCE ROCKS

What is the gedit side panel used during this lecture? Can't work it out because of the 360p resolution.

Apparently in <stdio.h> the equivalent to string should be char. However it wont work for me for any reason. I'm trying to compile the source code with a different compiler just to see if I can do the same.

I should prob continue with the course and see if they answer my question but, why use an entirely new header when one could just use scanf, included in stdio.h, and not have to go through all the extra steps?
