I am definitely team Kevin Costner. The writing is sloppy and disjoined and rushed. John Dutton was such a multidimensional strong manly character one of a kind. The ending didn’t do justice to his character. Very saddened by how Sheridan ended it.

As soon a it was revealed how and when John was dead I said "John deserved better". Still smh. The latest (last) episodes seem to have been written with ZERO empathy for The Yellowstone Story, characters and fans. Seems Sheridan just gave up. Does he enjoy playing the power trip? This narrative nailed it!

He messed it up as he does with all his shows ending weird. But this season was the worst for John Dutton, killing him stupid for his own revenge. Your right the show has gone to hell nowhere near what it was.

Yes, Costner left and that’s his responsibility. But, Sheridan had months to figure out how to deal with the loss so what’s happening right now is not on Costner but on Sheridan. He’s responsible for the current product that’s being shown on our screens. All this means is that he simply had no idea How to wrap up the story without Costner. In effect, this last season has morphed into an ad for the 6666’s.

He said he was forced to quit because Sheridan didn't want to work with Kevin scheduling.

I read an article saying that he went to work and there were no scripts. This is all Taylor Sheridan's fault. He had way too many other side projects and tv shows he was working on. I think they call it "having too many irons in the fires" Yellowstone was tv's #1 show, so Taylor should have thrown everything into that show instead of doing other shows. He ruined it, the #1 show on tv and he was too busy with other stuff.😢

I don't know what they were thinking when they killed off Coby_Colby(I think that was his name, the black cowboy, Teeter's boyfriend) He wasn't a main character, and Teeter and him just finally said I love you to each other. It was so sad and so unnecessary😢

What else could they do Kevin quit . I find it entertaining and not disapointing yet. I want the tribe to get the land back and the Duttuns be honoured for saving it for so long

I look at the totality of both Costner and Sheridan work and Costner comes out way on top. I'm currently disappointed in Yellowstone right now and I can't wait for more of horizon.

After seeing the latest episode where Sheridan essentially makes himself the Yellowstone martyr, yeah Kevin was right. Sheridan tanked the ending of Yellowstone so badly.

Sheridan screwed up. No reason for season 5 to be so bad. This show could have gone on for a long time. Costner was the glue.
