Sheridan is not nearly as good as he thinks he is. Even in the entertainment industry, filled with narcissists, that can become a problem. Costner does not need “Yellowstone, ” but “Yellowstone” needs Costner. Nobody else can play John Dutton, and everyone but Sheridan knows it.
