The problem I have is that my legs are most of my height, so any pants that pass this test for me would be way too short. As a result I'm cursed to always have to wear pants that are too big around because getting custom fit at a tailor is expensive but belts exist there is no reason to do it anyway lol.

i feel like this is super helpful if my pants fitting my waist was the biggest issue. Mens pants are organized by length and waist size, vs for women its like an arbitrary number that combines waist, thigh, rise, length, curve, etc.
