What is the purpose of a W-4? A W-4 form lets the government know how many dependents you have to take the correct amount out of your paycheck for income tax.
What is a dependent? Do you have any dependents? A dependent is someone you financially support (like family members).
Why do you think it can be helpful to have your taxes deducted from every paycheck? Having taxes deducted from your paycheck helps lessen your risk of incorrect filings as well as saving time filing your income tax on tax day.

I'm reading "B", and one of the scenarios is mark "1" if your wages from a second job or your spouse's wages (or the total of both) are $1, 500 or less. Would you put a 1 if you make less than $1, 500 each paycheck or is that referring to each month or each year?
