This is just a short video I made for an online lecture on cow milking systems, in which our farm participated.
We have a herringbone milking parlor in which we can milk 6 cows at a time. We milk twice a day. It takes about 1 hour to milk 35 cows.
We were deciding between a herringbone and a tandem parlour. We opted for herringbone because of less space needed and easier work: fewer doors, cows coming in together, three at a time,...
