Pray Like a Lawyer - Mark LaCour

Many people pray, but how many people ask themselves why God should actually answer their prayers? How many Christians know how to argue with God in prayer?

I was thinking the same way about praying like a lawyer using the word from the Bible. I think this is a confirmation from God for me continue praying

Just a few days ago, Elohim told me to start praying like a lawyer. Many of the things you said, are what He told me. I'm so thankful for this teaching. I'm going to share this with others, as I believe that it's going to bring a new level of prayer, and discernment to the body of Christ this year.

The difference between having a lawyer plead your case to a judge and our intercessor Jesus pleading our case to God is that God loves us. We are actually family.

There are many types of personalities all through the Bible and around us. Some are more like Jacob, some are more like David, others are like Moses, or like Joseph. And none of us will ever trick God into anything.

As I am a very simple man, I like to think God looks out for me, even if I don't state my case very well!

I think this is good advice. Isaiah 38:18 comes to mind. Isaiah, in so many words, pleads with God to save him from death because dead people can't praise God or talk about his faithfulness.

Present your argument, which is simply why? However, remember it is God's will that will ultimately be done, not yours. Be prepared to accept his will.
