U.S.S. Enterprise F Bridge / Star Trek Online

The recent story in Star Trek Online involved a redesign of the bridge of the U.S.S. Enterprise F. This makes the previous video I made showcasing the bridge lost in the past, so I decided to give the showcase a refit.

The original U.S.S. Enterprise F was an Odyssey class, along with the original Bridge designed for it. The Odyssey class evolved into three different but similar ship classes. While undergoing this refit, the Enterprise F became a Yorktown class and a new Bridge to match.

The U.S.S. Enterprise F will appear in the third season of Star Trek: Picard. While that version of the ship is believed to stick to the original Odyssey class, the ship itself will vary slightly from it's Star Trek Online appearance. Whether we will see the Bridge of the Enterprise F in Star Trek: Picard remains to be seen.

Shrink it down by about 50% and it’s absolutely perfect. The colors and displays are great, and I think this bridge would really shine if it were slightly tweaked.

I’m still sad we didn’t get the full STO Enterprise F bridge in Picard S3… The one on screen just looked like the Titan bridge with an office chair.

Looks nice, but the "pragmatist" in me screams... waste of space. Are they expecting to entertain a crowd up there?

As much as I love it there are 2 things from the old bridge that I am going to miss. Those being the private transporter pad at the back and the 2nd floor at the front. Those two things really stood out to me way back when and to this day I still think are pretty cool.

They could literally fit the whole crew up in there and still got enough space for guests to enjoy a quiet evening on the bridge

I actually prefer the Odyssey bridge that's currently in the game. It's a bit more interesting visually.

one of the things that turns me off about STO is the proportions of the interior of the ships. Look at how massive this bridge is compared to who is on it. It looks unnatural to me.

Ya know it's funny that aside from the size difference between the 2 the layout of the main bridge of the Enterprise F looks identical to that of the Enterprise D.

Love the look. Thought it weird that the Ilia probe from ST: TMP was standing there in the middle.

If we see this in live action I doubt it will be this big. Does the captain have to shout every order to be heard or do they have some sort of advanced acoustics technology?

I've only just played this mission and man I love the look of this bridge. Only to find out it's not available as a player bridge, that sucks. Thanks for this video though so I don't need to replay the mission everytime I want to see it :P

Beautiful... I wish they would make a bridge for the 1701-A, (TOS Movies) Having to use the standard bridge for the Miranda class kinda sucks... So I run my Miranda's with the TOS bridge.

If my office made me work 8-10hrs with no chair to sit at my workstation my employer wouldn't exist. Even a 4hr watch on the bridge is going to cause chronic problems with their posture. No, a quick visit to Sickbay won't sort that out. If you've worked in retail on your feet you know exactly what it's like. Except here you have lives at stake and you need to be alert and fresh while on watch, afterwards you attend to our assigned duties for that day before hitting your bunk.... Day after day after day.
All that open space and so few workstations, almost non of which can be seen by the officer on watch. Starfleet could halve the size of the bridge with no loss of efficiency.

I hate how huge they made the bridges in this game. They look pretty but They are like Warehouses. You'd need a bull horn to issue orders to those guys at the rear stations. IT was one of the reasons I stopped playing STO.

It's A shame this isn't available for purchase though I would love to tour the ship
It would also be great if we finally got the classic Refit Constitution class bridge as well I bring that up because I recently watched the Star Terk Motion Picture Directors Edition I mean they have so much to work with to make that classic bridge.

One thing I don't understand is why Ilia from The Motion Picture is in this video I mean she is literally standing there in front of the ships captain, the first officer and the ships counslor she is standing right next to the ships helm and ops stations.

Would suck if either Science Station found anything important. They'd have to yell like crazy or run real fast to tell the captain. That's a BIG bridge!
