Hey @Retro-Badger-Gaming you should use the Refit Variant of Excalibur (U.S.S. Atlantic) against a Dominion Battle Fleet or Romulan Attack Fleet. THAT is a great battle.

The F also could saucer seperate & had the escort aquarius vessel. Meaning it could much more deadlier in the fight

The Excalibur needs something but I'm not exactly sure what exactly that is. I like the sideways firing photons (give them a broadside!) but it feels like it's missing necessary escort ships. Perhaps it could use a multi-vector mode where the top and bottom half separate into two or three ships and every ship gains speed and agility due to a lower total mass?

Great fight the thing about the sovereign class I loved was the more aggressive design and stream lining THE. Odyssey class was larger but retained its streamlining & aggressive Design this I love it’s why the *sovereign class & Odyssey class are my joint NO 1 Favorite FED Designs*

i just realised the Odyssey is missing a few quantumn launchers fore and aft, 2 facing forward are located just underneath the deflector and 1 at the bottom of the secondary hull facing the rear

So the only way to settle this is computer vs computer, though I think the Excalibur is still the stronger ship.
