Decent video, I would argue that there is nothing "simple" about BJJ though. It is a vast, deep martial art that one can spend a lifetime learning.

I've trained karate several years and just a little jiu jitsu. Most of the time, one on one I'll use my white belt BJJ over black belt karate. Fighting more than one then you better be Mike Tyson

As someone who has trained both, my money would be on jiu jitsu. You're not guaranteed to win a fight using it but knowing how to grapple will definitely help. Not knowing how to grapple in a streetfight is detrimental.

15 years practicing both of them. The difference is that i practice japanese jujitsu, wich involves newaza, tachi waza and hit techniques.
I recomend everyone to practice both, they complement perfectly.
