I found some hose that was a little bit smaller in diameter than the inside of the new piece that I was installing. I cut it to length and fed into the new piece. It gives you more rigidity and doesn't just squish the new piece. The door seals even better now. Just a little FYI.

Cut the old seal lengthwise with a utility knife; it will be much easier to remove.

Like you did in this video a very short intro then down to business works. One can always talk as they are doing. This was very helpful. Mine is so bad the rain water (when we are lucky enough to get some) comes in to the garage. Being on a budget it is great to find helpful videos so one can do things themselves. You mentioned about the adjustment at the start, I have not seen that in any other videos I have watched. Don't need to worry about that for now as I need a new everything garage door, I open manually. Thank you for your time, have a great day :) Do you have a video for weather proofing the garage door panels? I noticed yours looked like they had been done.

I installed that type on 2 of my doors, but the rubber became very hard in a short amount of time. I assume it is due to cheap imported rubber.

Are your duckbill pliers Utica? I bought mine in 1971 and use them regularly.

FYI - Amazon link is not exactly the same seal as the video. It's I think a seal that installs across your concrete threshold.

Next time try to cut the seal all the way down the middle so it’ll be a little easier
