FAQ's:
Q: I have tried all the steps seen here and the issue has not been resolved.
A: If the diagnostic test showed your Hard Drive to be healthy, or if you were unable to run the diagnostic test, your next step would be to try an install Windows.
If Windows installs, then you know the issue was the Operating System. If it does not install, you may be looking at a bad HDD. It would then need to be replaced.

Q: The diagnostic test showd an error with my HDD. What do I do?

Q: I couldn't change my BIOS settings or I did change them and it didn't help.
A: If you could not change your BIOS settings or if changing them did not help your situation, them move on and try the other steps in this video. What was the result of the Lenovo diagnostic scan?

*_Awesome video on Lenovos. I got a Lenovo G50-70 and the Lenovo Power Management driver no longer works. I've tried updating automatically and failed, and also manually right from the Lenovo support site with no success as well after reinstalling it. Any ideas?_*

Hi, My Lenovo IdeaPad 3 doesn't have boot mode UEFI/legacy. And my laptop keeps crashing at random times showing the boot failed screen. I usually just switch my laptop off and on for it to work but it would just crash again at random times showing the boot failed screen. any help to resolve this?

I have the L340-17API Laptop (ideapad) experiencing this boot loop restarting issue. I was trying to get to the Lenovo Diagnostics screen and hitting "1" didn't work. Do you know correct number for my model? Thanks.

I have a V15 G2-ALC Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 82KD model. Would you have any knowledge of whether this model can get diagnostics up? Could not seem to get that in your steps.

After doing few thing that are recommended in this video, my Lenovo E580 is now stuck in BitLockery situation. Of course, I do not have any code and even cannot type it in if I had it. Is there something I can do myself to fix the situation and boot the computer?

I have a Lenovo T420. Dropped on my desk. Getting 2100 HDDO error and Media Cable Failure. Will NOT go into BIOS. Have tried everything, just goes to black screen. I have taken hard drive out and put it back in several times. Any thoughts? How would I find the cable?

Hi, I'm trying to boot Windows 11 with "Secure Boot" enabled but after "POST" it goes to the "BIOS" setup screen. When I turn "Secure Boot" off, Windows loads properly.
I've installed Windows 11 with "Secure Boot: Enabled" and "CSM: Disabled" and it has been installed properly.
I have a hard drive with GPT and Windows installed on the HDD on a partition formatted as NTFS.

So after a windows update, I started boot looping on my old x1 carbon. Tried changing boot mode in bios. Time is right. I cannot boot to USB to install a new os. I tried factory resetting bios. Nothing. Should I try flashing the bios? I'm hesitant to go that option cause I can only mount the iso to a CD as it's not showing as bootable media in Rufus. Or is it a motherboard issue. Only thing I haven't tried is the cmos battery as I don't want to tear the laptop apart.

Hey how are you my Lenovo yoga 6 Chromebook keeps restarting itself. It would say automatically repair or when it comes on for a short period of time it automatically shut itself down and I only had this Chromebook for a year.

Hi Jamin! Thanks so much for sharing your videos! I tried changing options in the BIOS Utility including the date. I also was able to run the lenovo diagnostic system tests and they all passed. I'm still getting the Preparing Automatic Repair at start up after running those checks. I have a Ideacentre AIO700. Can you please help? Thanks in advance for your your help!

@pc_monkey I have a Lenovo v330 laptop. My Bios (hitting F2) doesnt show any HDD tests. I don't think I have the diagnostic tools. It keeps trying to fix disk errors on startup but it doesn't work. Won't load windows 10. Any ideas?

@pc_monkey thanks for the reply. No spills etc. I tried to do a recovery using f12 but it failed saying c drive was corrupted. How do get to CMD to run a check disk? Didn't see any check disk in the Bios (F2). I even tried to change boot to legacy but that didn't help anything
