In this video I answer a couple of questions raised in the comments section of my blog post about using EF Core in a separate class library project. Which requires a little work around in order generate projects.

This tutorial really lacks coherence. You showcase a lot of extra features from your program that are outside of the scope of this tutorial, which then in return makes it very difficult to actually understand how to set up or use EF core in a class library. It would've been much easier if you would've started with an empty project so people could follow along instead of a project that you're currently working on.

You can now use design-time DbContext creation in order to have your separate class library project manage the migrations from the command line without all the extra steps and linking between projects.
