The Nikon Z8 is 99% the same as the Z9 (rant)

Nikon putting out a strong competing camera at an aggressive price point is great for the industry. Everyone benefits in the long-term when competition is fierce. I'm a legacy Nikon shooter and chose to pre-order the Z8. I'm upgrading from a D750 so it will be a monster of an upgrade for me. I do wish the screen was fully articulating but it's not a deal breaker.

It's the camera that a lot of Nikon users have been waiting on. Z9 but smaller, excellent.

People were comparing flagship models Z9 vs A1 vs R3, now Z8 almost same as Z9 apart from ergonomics and battery, it's $2500 less than A1.. that's incredible and very aggressive price..

I switched from Nikon to Sony when I went mirrorless. Sony’s firmware policy has given me thoughts of switching back. Nikon’s new cameras and price points are catching my attention even, pre.

I just listened to the end a second time (1yr later) After shooting the Z8 for 9months The Z8 is the very best camera I have used Now 1 year after Your video the Nikon System has an amazing group of lenses available Thank You :) :) :)

No mechanical shutter and extreme weather seal is enough profit for us professionals. Will last a long time. Also as a Z9 user, I just would like a Z6III with Expeed 7. The rest is all about lenses

For, me it's an insult to compare the Z8 to the R5, and A7R V, what your not mentioning in your video is that the Z8, is better than the R3 and A1 in some respects.

I had the D850 but the Z7II wasn’t really an upgrade. Now when Nikon has the lens lineup and the Z9 was introduced I bought it. But it’s heavy and big. I’m gonna sell it and buy this.

Never owned or for that matter used a, Nikon. I did watch your review of the Z9 and it did peak my interest but, I eventually ended up going with the Canon R5. I’m not disappointed. Keep doing what you are doing man. You are an inspiration to many.

I don't really like the design but it's great value for the money, the backlit buttons are amazing
