Can we please just acknowledge the VFX artists that worked their asses off only to have the director and cast go on about “no CGI”? I adore practical effects, some of my favourite shots are purely practical, but to say a film like this has no CGI is a real slap in the face to about half the people listed in the credits.

As much as everyone is complaining, I’m too hyped for this movie to be upset about clips coming out. I’m sure some things are being spoiled but I’m also hearing they’re not spoiling as much as we think from people who got to see it early.

animatronics is very hard to do, I think it died with Ridley and Carpenter. All these trailers could mean the investors saw the movie already and were blown away by it or it flopped. Lets hope, it's really good and they're pumping it for a big return in their investment.

'Made a point in not greenscreening it'.... yeah, I'm quite certain that would've been near impossible to do and/or look horrible when the first movie came out in 1979! That said, I'm glad they took that approach for this movie.

They need it, no big name stars, like Prometheus and Covenant had. Most alien films had failed except of course the obvious ones. Not sure how big Alien fan base is could be not that big at all. They will rely on new, curious or horror sci-fi fans audience. I’m skeptical at this point. They need a mysterious thing like Alien had Space jockey and Aliens had The hive what will Romulus have?
