I just realised something : her wearing overalls and having Spanish as her mother tongue, the actress reminds me so much of Audrey from Atlantis: The Lost Empire ! That's why I'm rooting for her character.

Man this looks good! In another tv spot it shows the xeno crouched squatting just looking at her from above while not moving and it is terrifying. I love that this is why she has seemed to be off on her own in all the clips. Being alone in a dark spaceship with smoke and flashing lights knowing that creature is stalking you and you can't seem to find your way to anyone is so scary...even at the beginning I bet the flinch she does is 100% real.
