I bought the complete Fishman Fluence kit about 9 months ago. These are the best pickups I have ever heard. You get a push/pull pot inc in the price, thereby providing you with the best classic Strat sound on the market. Engage the push pull pot and the Strat becomes, what I can only describe as, "an understated Texas wound sound." Everything you hear from these guys about how great these pickups are is so true. My next purchase will be a set of humbuckers for my Les Paul.

My Triple Play battery went down after a year or so. I wonder if this is any better.

I wonder if the lack of copper coils reduces the cost of manufacturing these things a lot? I'm guessing this was a major factor in taking this new approach.

Are you gonna put WiFi on those too or blue tooth and have them stream to your DAW directly? Just kidding.
Everything is a great idea except for the USB charger part. If you want to do that, I'd suggest looking into DASH charge. I mean, the message here was that it took DAYS to charge the battery? What happens when the battery capacity becomes so low that you have to replace it? Throw away the pickup?

Just so many problems.

Come on, guys... Let's have a Fluence pickup with TriplePlay Wireless MIDI functionality built-in. The Triple-Play is great, but it looks kinda weird on the guitar, and is prone to getting beat up during exaggerated stage antics. PLEASE. Just integrate the TriplePlay sensor into one of these pickup bodies and sell me one!
