This is excellent and it's critically important. The first time I heard the theory that "Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace" of Isaiah 9:5 (6) was Hezekiah, I was astonished that anyone had concocted such an enormous whopper. But, there are still people who swallow it. Thank you for contending for The Truth.

I appreciate how you encourage us to check the references; very important. Great analysis of the text. When I first started reading the Targums a couple years ago, what they were saying about the Messiah, the Word/Memra, Shekinah/Presence, really hit me hard. Yeshua is the Visible YHWH from the OT, the Word and preincarnate Messiah, the Malakh YHWH (The Messenger & The Message of the Father - anointed with the fullness of the Holy Spirit from Everlasting). May the Holy Spirit open our eyes to the Truth. Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father, and not just in the NT. Peace be with you all.

6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Hezekiah was noted as a righteous king, particularly in comparison with most of the other rulers of Judah. He had a good working relationship with the prophet Isaiah and saw miracles save both his kingdom and his own life. Jewish tradition has it that he was almost righteous enough to have been the Messiah. Seems it wasnt in Gods plans the way man wanted it. Im sure lot of the kings in Davids line were trying to appoint themselves. tthank you so much for sharing this best video.
