Sounds a little closer to Vol 3 to my ears.

One thing that may help is that Jim didn't record on S/t aside from two tracks ("Purity" and "Me Inside"). Most were recorded by Mick, who used a Rocktron Piranha preamp through a Mesa Boogie 295 poweramp and a 31-band graphic EQ in the loop. I can't find any verification on what cab/speaker was used, but the likely candidate seems to be a Marshall 4x12 with T75 speakers. Jim used a Mesa DC10 for his recordings (just those two songs), and I can't find any verification of what Josh Brainard used.
