I would highly recommend not enabling X.M.P until you have windows completely installed and up to date sometimes when you first enable XMP it can cause a random blue screen

2:29 - best to leave XMP disabled whilst installing windows, it may cause instability issues whilst doing so

Thanks so much! My boyfriend built my pc and I had no clue what I was doing, and we didn't test the other stuff before I took it home. I probably restarted my pc like 10 times and reinstalling windows media creation. Turned out all I needed was xmp, I went to 4 different videos before I was able to resolve it. Thanks a bunch

Great guide but it's better to overclock the ram (xmp) after you installed windows so it can be stable as possible.

You inadvertently helped me. I switched my OS from an HDD to an NVme drive but my system was taking forever to load. I realized that my NVme drive was probably not in the first boot position. I switched it and bam, super fast loading again. Thank you so much, it was driving me insane.
