Bought the old superium pole which was the most expensive I could afford as a pleasure angler. Had 2 number 3's break and a carp top kit at the puller hole and took ages to find them. They are always going to improve on OUR BEST POLE EVER. I like Des and respect his skills but not all of us can keep upgrading

My husband has just bought the Preston x25…..it’s For a middle price bracket pole it’s the best pound for pound pole around. It’s super stiff, strong, and with a package containing 6 kits you can’t go wrong.
He had a wiggle of the airity, the daiwa mw5, and a few other poles of the same price….nothing touched the x25.
Anybody looking for a 14.5 m pole…please please check out the Preston superium x25, you will be blown Well done Preston innovations.

Love the innovative new products but disappointed in the availability of the established terminal items such as gpmb hooklengths. Unable to purchase anywhere for 2 months now.

I feel a bit miffed as they bring these out so soon after the 1st superium poles and paying so much for them you need to concentrate on getting terminal Tackle stock to the UK not milking us for more money

I do feel a little stupid and let down after getting the Superium X90 only a few months ago. Only to then find out within weeks that these new poles where coming. Now they are here and i, ve got a second class pole based on how great the new poles are. I sort of feel cheated and i, ve not really put my X90 to good use, yet.

Looks like a nice shiner new range, however as Preston have taken over supply of browning spares I’d be interested to see since this is a new mandrel, which browning section fit these new poles. Call me suspicious but since browning have left the market in the last 12 months Preston push a new range with new mandrel and square butts appear that look like a resprayed browning square butt. Nice looking range tho and the packages do look a lot better for the mid to high end

Well I can tick the boxes for comments on availability, prices, stock levels of Preston items in general, and the unexpected "Why so soon?" (thought everyone knew they were coming out), and the video's only been up an hour or so!
Shouldn't be long before I can tick off the comments for "Will my old top-kits fit?", "What about spares for the older ones?", "Are they really any different?", "What do they weigh?", "Can I get the pole only?".

Lots of negative responses, if it’s to expensive….don’t buy it, if you don’t believe there’s improvements….don’t buy it, people breaking sections, heavy handed anglers etc…..if the suit doesn’t fit……DONT BUY IT AND STOP
