You don't appreciate how quick he actually was unless you saw it live. I remember playing against him in a club game a couple days after he got picked in the Australian test side & the keeper/slips were a pitch & a half back from the stumps. The keeper was taking them all on the rise at head height. He hit one of our guys in the chest so hard you could see the Kookaburra logo

Those were the days of real fast bowling... Nowadays 145 is considered as express bowling.... And Lee is consistently bowling over 150.... Great era... Would have loved kohli and Rohit playing some of the great fast bowlers of that time, ... When Lee, Akhtar, bond and also steyn were on their prime peak.
