The thing I loved about the 3DS was the many ways you could make it *yours*. The backgrounds, the easy organization of the title screen, how each console has it’s own Mii + friend code, you name it. One other thing I love is all of the cool limited edition colors. The 3DS was one of the best systems out there, still love it to this day

The thing I loved and still love about my original 3ds is that it is fully customizable. Folders, Themes (payed or free doesn't matter), Badges and so much more. I don't own a switch but what I see it's not so customizable. The 3ds is my go to handheld when on the go

The main feature the switch needs is that massiv security hole so we can install cfw way easier

I think that they wouldnt Port Streetpass, since the 3ds is designed around being a handheld console (which allows the devs to put on applications, which promote the usage of the console on the way), whilst the Switch is a hybrid console, meaning that, even though it can be used as a handheld, its main porpuse is still being a Home console. And Not everyone is tacking out their Switch, leaving it completly as a Home console. The ones who actually Take their Switch with Them would have to randomly come across another one carrying his Switch. Maybe If Streetpass would get a Remake, for example you can get the street pass by other Players you meet online, which would make it worth implenenting in the game, however this would mean you could get hundreds of street pass contacts, so there also needs to be a mechanism which balances that.
So in the end, i dont think it will be implemented, or atleast not in the way it is on the 3ds

I also really love the designs, themes and batches. My 3DS has a SNES design, and it just looks so cool? But what I love the most was definitely the themes. I usually make them myself, which adds another layer of personality. I really love customizing consoles, so being able to make my own theme, with custom music and everything is absolutely amazing.

Only thing I don't miss is the Virtual Console since I much prefer just paying an annual fee for a collection rather than buying the same games again at full price.

Itd be so cool if, for the next generation, they made a system with a similar design to the 3ds, except with the ability to play switch games, 3ds and ds. Wouldn't be super hard. They could have it as a portable only and have a dedicated home console separately. They'll never do it, but it would be so cool

Yeah but they won't because they can't milk all of their users for obscene amounts of money if you can download play etc

i doubt they would add download cuz the switch having the whole joycon ting. but good short
