Make Your Own Console With a Mini PC and Batocera!

👉Zu and Gary got ahold of a miniPC from Alliwava and decided to build their own retro console. Join them as they install Batocera on a flash drive, load up all of their games, and put their miniPC through its paces.

If you're tight on money or already have an old PC kicking around in the basement, this guide will work for you too! Anything from the last 15 years will run up to PlayStation, and as the computer gets more powerful, your options expand into GameCube, PS2, and maybe Switch!

Beelink SER5 Mini PC with a Ryzen 5560U has proven a great Batocera dedicated game box that even does switch (with some softeare modding) as well as PS2, GameCube and 3DS without breaking a sweat.

Wonderful times us retro game fans currently reside in. so many options we'd have never dreamed of back in the day. I've love and used emulation since I first emulated a C64 on my AMIGA those long years ago. Now we can easily have any 8-16-32-64 bit game playable in the palm of our hand or running on older PC's. I'll never play all the games I have in rom form 😝but I can try!

It's too bad none of you make a video on how to make games work when they don't run well. You were on that mario game changed a bunch of things but didn't show what you were changing and why. I have the 12T hyper spin external hard drive and unfortunately got a mini PC that is only strong enough to play everything if i fiddle and change things but have no darn idea how to. Especially when the options menues are completely different from one to the next especially the higher end like ps2 3 xbox and such. Nowhere can i find fps or how to lock it at 60 or 30. I think there is only 4 or 5 things you guys always say to change so how long would it take to show us instead if just mentioning it? Fps frameskip shaders resolution what else and where?
