Protecting your torrenting activity with a VPN is vital - but you can still make it even safer.

We're using Proton VPN as our VPN and qBittorrent as our torrenting client, but this technique will work with most torrent clients and almost any VPN.

I cannot see any network interface that remotly resembles Proton. I'm using protonVPN via Wireguard on ubuntu server. The VPN is working, but not visible in qBit. Do you know a resolution to this problem?

does it automate port number setting on qbittorrent listening port or do i have to set that manually every time I choose to port forward using protonvpn?

no port forwarding required for this setup? or maybe it would be a good idea to enable it in protonVpn client?

If you bind, does that mean you don't need to worry about the kill switch?

Is there a way to auto reconnect a torrent if the killswitch has activated?
