What always surprises me is people who just assume someone won't be able to sing because of their weight or their looks or their age. It's got nothing to do with any of those things. Just because record companies won't sign new artists who aren't young, slim and good looking, people just assume that anyone who doesn't fit that description can't sing. It's absolutely stupid.
