The Fastest Kayak I Have Ever Used - NEW Old Town ePDL Demo/Review

Got to try out the new electric pedal assist kayak from @OldTownCanoeKayak and this thing is sweet. Extremely fast and very easy on the legs, it is perfect for chasing far away blitzes. Big shout out to the Rhode Island Kayak Center for letting me borrow it for a few days!

Nice Review. Kayak Looks Great! Two Thumbs up. Opens up nearly unlimited possibilities once U get this Beast on the water. But $6k List price is going to limit the market considerably. Also @ 148 lbs or so plus fishing equipment & accessories. Hauling this boat around is looking to be a Herculean chore. I'm very curious to read the reviews once this Kayak hits the market and we hear from more Fishermen.

Hey Jonny, nice review, you show the ePDL beautifully and the video length is just right. Knowing that when you are on a power setting of 5 and you are using the pedals the entire time, I assume you are saving battery rather than just using a power setting of 5 on Cruise Control. Knowing you didn't have a way to record your MPH at the time, , do you gain a little speed by assisting with the pedals or is the speed the same whether pedaling on 5 or Cruising on 5?

Eh 6000? I built a haswing 65lb for my slayer max and I can do the same thing and my motor was 299 and battery was 150 hmmmm
With pedal assist I get over 5mph easily and without pedal assist I can hit 4.85 and the 50ah battery lasts all day.
