My take in all of this: I rooted for MM when she was introduced to the world.
I saw the ITV engagement interview and the teasing but not fully shown ending segment and cringed. I thought it was in bad taste but understandable. H was taken aback.
Then we heard ONLY DORIA would be her only family member to the wedding. And right there I knew trouble, huge troubles were coming.
Had H married a local girl, things would be different. Why: H is, and has been in the state of mind he's in probably since the passing of his mother and is stuck there. He went through life afterwards with a lot of existential luggage that were never resolved. Everybody who came into his life rarely spilled the tea on him. MM got in, saw all the opportunities possible, grabbed them and run away with her prize acquisition.
H was courted and is being courted by the devil and his fall is going to be astronomically painful.

Good luck to all those who defend Harry and Meghan and writing this book. Imagine someone in your family goes to the press with a whole one sided concoction of gossipy stories blaming the family for everything wrong with their lives. A new member of any family has to compromise too! They can’t walk in and expect everyone else to lick their feet. Respect and love is earned over years of loyalty and proving their worth and metal.
