I think this type of play (garrisoned rams) is stronger than it seems but most pros don't do it because the whole garrisoning process takes time away from other important tasks. But I don't see how any civ would stop a 10-ram push full of TTK or Zerks unless they had massive SOs which not all civs have or want to spec into

Rams versus Trebuchet: In terms of gold, you can afford 3 rams for every 1 trebuchet. Also, instead of needing to defend the trebuchet, the rams defend your army, soaking up arrow fire, and have more raw health than knights.
