I literally just ran to take the lid off my PC to see if I had the RAMs in place correctly

Note : Not all boards split the paired slots. Check your manual to see how the pairs are.
My motherboard has four slots, each pair being side by side with the other. (xxyy vs xyxy stated in the video)

Some motherboards have detection for this, I remember when I built my PC, I accidentally put both sticks in the same channel, and my motherboard wouldn't even let me boot without just flat out telling me that they should be in dual channel and not single channel and to switch them to the correct slots, even telling me what slots exactly they should be in.
