J.D. Power revealed its rankings for the best and worst North American airports and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport was named the best in the mega airport category.

The rankings took the size of hubs into account and Tampa International Airport ranked the highest in the large airport segment. In the class of medium airports, Indianapolis International Airport flew high at number one.

Last Sunday I waited one and half hours to pass the security gate at DTW Delta airline terminal. I almost missed my flight.

Although Newark isnt pretty, Į love it because your in and out of the gates to luggage to street in minutes. Compared to the major trek that is Denver International Airport. No need to mention those “other”undesirable things gėrė at DIA.

I don't know if DTW should _ever_ get Number 1 as the best Mega Airport; the times we flew out and came back to the Airport to and from LAX... Was OK; despite that the car lots in the Green Lot, as well as the Big Blue Deck were at least 88.8% full.
