Geoguessr Pro Attempts to Name All 197 Capital Cities?

We’ve done flags and countries, now it’s time for the boss, capital cities. This is certainly an area where my knowledge is lacking, so let’s see how many I can manage!

The capital of Tanzania is Dodoma. Dar es salaam is the biggest city but not the capital, Dodoma has been the capital since 1973 before that it was Dar es salaam. Greetings from a Dutchman who has lived in Tanzania❤️🇹🇿🇳🇱

For the Seychelles you probably thought about Mahe, which is the name of the biggest island of the Seychelles. But their capital has always been Victoria.

I managed 163 before giving up. The one that I spent ages on was Brunei, I just couldn't spell it and it was so infuriating. I knew the Sri Lanka one and I should have probably just typed in Kotte and it would have accepted it but I was trying to spell the Sri Jayawardenapura bit and gave up. My Uganda moment though was with St Lucia. I have seen every freakin' photosphere of St Lucia, I feel I could make my way around the capital without a map and find my way and recognise most of the stores, and I could not for the life of me remember the name. Just realised that YouTube comments are now italicised, you are the recipient of my first italicised comment. 🙂

Wow its so cool to see u posting these sporacle quizzes. I found your channel while getting into geoguessr a bit ago and i found sporacle while trying to get better. But that led me to use sporacle studying more then i actually play geoguessr😂 Its really a great resource, Flags, Capitals and Geographical locations. Freetown is Sierra Leone, Monrovia is the capital of Liberia.
Also, I would share my “trick” for remembering Benin and Togo but it’s significantly more confusing than it is useful.

SJK is the textbook answer teach in schools and thats where the parliment is. But even among the natives, Colombo is considered the commercial/modern day capital.

You were confusing Moroni (Comoros) for Seychelles. Also Mali is Bamako not Niamey (Niger's capital)
