Here is how to find Gotenba with only the picture at 2:33 and almost nothing else
I made those assumptions:
Camera height = 1.7m + 50m above sea level
Utility Pole height = 7.2 + 50m above sea level (3 story high because of the house next to it)
The location on Mount Fuji: a bit under half of Fuji, because of the shape of the slope
I chose: 1700m
Now, with all those information, it gives a distance from that point on Mount Fuji to the camera of approximately 18km to 19 km
I looked up on a map, and Gotenba is in the 16km to 21km range

It would be interesting in hindsight, if someone could redo those calculations using the best possible data from that picture only, and maybe better educated guesses, and see if you can do better. I couldn't find the actual spot from this video, maybe you can
