i was so scared for my exam results, i was so stressed for drama and english but my grades were actually WAY better than i expected and got my first 2 8s ever (drama and english lit) and i got a 7 in maths as well 🥹 i was so proud of myself and my english teacher laughed as was like to me “i knew you could do it!” and i cried tears of joy lol

just had my first two exams today and although they didn't go exactly as i hoped, they actually weren't too scary. well done, you should be so proud ! and even though i obviously haven't got my results back yet, i so get what you mean about not getting your predicted/the grades you thought you woud get :( i'm predicted a 9 in rs but after that exam today, i'll be lucky if i get a 7 tbh

an 8 in english language is still amazing dw!! the marking is very inconsistent and its hard to judge how well you've done, i was expecting an 8 and really wanted an 8/9 and got a 6, it's just one of those things, all of your grades are amazing though you should be super proud! i was also very close to a 9 in english lit and it upset me aswell but we move, we can still hope for that A* at a level!

i got my results this year too, and i messed up history SO (i thought i was going to fail, but got an 8 in the end, so I FEEL U GIRL).
alsooo i took AS politics and i ASOLUTELY hated it (the content is awful), but that might be bc of my skill set lol (i'm more of a bio and maths girl)

It baffles me as to how people do well in science. I have only ever got 5s, in my recent paper 2 mocks (literally 2 weeks before the exams) I got a 6 for the first time. I am praying to the gods that I get a 5 in everything at least, but with the amount of effort I put in, it still seems unfair. I get some people lie about how much revision they do (why?) but it really makes me sad that I can't get past a 5, no matter how much revision I do. But, I can't get demotivated bc Biology paper 2 is tomorrow (help me).
