Hi, my name is Abdullah Khan and I’m going to be a Year 12 A-Level Student who makes educational videos that aim to help students achieve their best in any global exam.

CONGRATTSS ABDULLAH!!! Your results are amazing, honestly be proud. 9s in both English subjects is insanely difficult to get so genuinely, you smashed it. What I’ve realised, a year on after results, is that GCSE results don’t matter at all. As long as you manage to secure your place in sixth form, college, whatever, nothing else matters. It will feel important for a week or so but trust me, when you get into year 12, nobody cares about GCSE results anymore and the whole pace of a levels is something completely different and requires quite a unique list of strengths that don’t really come from GCSE. So you’re in a really good position and, when you look back at this day in a few months time, you might even find that the grade in computer science was for the best, and your change in career path might have been essential to doing well in the future. Remember, everything that happens is always for a reason and so take your results lightly and make sure to smash your a-levels!! Once again, congrats. You’re in a really fortunate position compared to a lot of people.

Hi Abdullah. I’m in a similar situation to you, got many 9s and 8s but failed one gcse subject at grade 3. But i am upset but if I look at my results the 9s and 8s really motivate me so don’t let one gcse let you down. We all have a weakness. Celebrate your achievement 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Same with me bro. In our first and second set of mocks I got an 8 in biology. I was predicted an 8 too and my bio teacher said i could get a 9. Plus all my friends knew I was the best at bio out of all of us. Well I found out that i got a 6 in bio on results day. That meant that I couldn't do biology at the 6th form I wanted to go to and now im prolly staying at my schools 6th form. Oh well everything happens for a good reason. Yes these GCSEs were tough. I have been following your videos for a while and was excited to see you're results video even if these grades are worse than what you wanted, this channel is just a small snippet that shows your commitment and perseverance throughout the GCSE process. Hi abdullah I going to be doing comp science at a level but haven't done it at gcse and I have no idea about programming or coding I'm a bit worried now 😅 after seeing a grade 8 and 9 student like you getting a 5 in it at gcse...

Abdullah you did AMAZING at your GCSEs I have a question regarding on how you revised for tour GCSE's in specific of all of them especially on English, sciences cause I find I'm smart at them but I get like a 5/6 when pen on paper....I'm starting Year 11 in September btw.

As much as you may feel gutted from your comp sci result dont let that determine your career path. I got a result in comp sci last year that i didnt expect but i was still eager to do it for a level and pursue it at uni. going into y13 now it's not that different from gcse. Even the best people mess up in the final exams but we move :)
