The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. It’s so sad how Jojo was treated, just because she had a different personality and didn’t care about fitting in. I love her confidence and self worth tho because she never let it change who she was.

Nia’s comment was so unnecessary, it’s not Jojo who takes her opportunities. Holly also needed to realise that her daughter didn’t ‘deserve’ things just because they’d been there longer

By this time all the moms finally accepted Jojo as part of the team probably because they knew she was getting her jacket. They were awful towards Jojo but I’m glad they accepted her for who she was. But they still made fun of her later on and the moms allowed it to happen.
I don’t think the concept was the issue I think the personality comments and then Nias comment is what was wrong. I think they should’ve just focused on her dancing and not bring her personality into it. Jojo was so strong standing there listening to that I probably couldn’t have stayed inside the room as an adult.

Nia missed the mark with her comment in my opinion, she never took opportunities from anyone, Abby gave her the solos, she also had to do them to prove herself to Abby to get on the team. I understand they danced with Abby since they were young but they auditioned for the documentary that eventually became a reality tv show, and got given the opportunity to be showcased every week, so many other dancers wanted that chance, and it wasn’t as easy for them to get it like it was the originals. I don’t think other dancers joining meant they were taking opportunities, the og girls were given the opportunity from the start. I do also know how neglected some of the girls were including Nia throughout. But I sometimes wished they were more understanding of guests and new team mates.

I think pretty much all the girls said nice things..even when they were saying the not so good reasons but Nia?? I mean she takes oportunities from people who have been here longer? Since when is that Jojo's fault? I love Nia and she is pretty acertive but on this particular case she said something that made no sense

I get nia but abby gives new kids solos and one of the reasons for it is that she wants to see if they can do those and fit in and what do you expect her to do, say no... its up to abby. Cant rlly expect ppl to wait 5 yrs to just get one solo...
