In this Minecraft Let's Play video, build a fortress farm to generate coal, blaze rods, wither skeleton skulls, bones and much more. The farm is based in the Nether on a Nether Fortress and uses 6 trident killers to kill Wither Skeletons and Blazes.

I really like Foxy's approach of building relatively simple farms rather than "the biggest, most efficient farm ever!" Especially in the nether, building is a pain in survival so I think simpler is better.

It may have been removed but there was a bedrock mechanism that a trident drowned will always pick up a nautilus shel if they can and drop there trident, so just throwing them a nautilus shell makes every trident drowned give you there trident…. very handy!!!

Best way to get tridents is to give a Nautilus shell to a drowned holding a Trident. But you can't grab aggro or they won't pick up the Nautilus shell, so you might have to use an invisibility potion or something.

A standard drowned farm produces tridents due to them dropping tridents when picking up Nautilus shells that previous drowned have dropped.

When I grow up I want to be just like Foxy. Mad lad and overall genius

Goldenhelmet has am excellent drowned farm with a little setup that moves nautilus shells around so the drowned that spawn with trident will switch a full durability trident for a nautilus shell

I was able to make a squid / drowned trident killer farm by using soul sand and water streams direct mobs into a single kill chamber. Produced a more than a double chest worth of tridents just by AFKing over night

If you're at middgame or lategame you can farm wither rose and put it on spawn spot to limit the mobs that spawns

It's not a Foxynotail video without Foxy dying! 😂 😂

Yeah I think they made the drowned trident change in 1.17. I built a drowned farm and was doubly disappointed because the copper drop rates were awful.

Lol, Foxy turned Zombie Spawner into Drowned Farm without checking

I learned that you can sleep in a bed with a villager in it, without kicking him out first!

If I am seeing your farm correctly. Once the server updates to 1.19.60 you shouldn’t get any more magma cubes due to their hitbox size. If not then the far walls of the drop chute just needs to be solid blocks at the foot lvl to prevent their spawns.

Do you have a video or stream on the trading hall at the start of this video?

I made a nether fortress farm like this, but found an issue when going AFK for long periods of time. Skeletons with leather boots can spawn, but do not fall through the powdered snow.

Don't the maga cubes down in the lava hang around and fill up the mob cap if the AFK spot is low enough?

What do you think about enclsing the area and having it on golems and frogs to kill the magmas?

Wither roses work properly now. Only wither skeletons and zombie pigmen are the only things that spawn on them.
