I like this type of tutorial. Telling you "what's what" without an unnecessary block by block hour long tutorial.

4:36 - ah, the Wilhelm scream! 😁
Great tip about burning slabs. And I almost want to try building a fortress farm, now.
Almost.

I didn’t know blaze farms could be that simple! That’s now added to my infinite list of things to do in Minecraft lol

Edit: Blaze rods are used in End Rods - so they do get you closer to lighting.

You can use them as fuel to make the popped chorus fruit, then to craft the end rod :)

2 lava cauldrons per furnace will keep them going indefinitely. With 3 or 4 per furnace, you’ll be able to collect chests / shulkers full of lava after a few sessions and basically never need fuel again.

If you make a campfire and then break it you get 4 charcoal instantly at the cost of 3 sticks mean you smelt 3 wood in 3 sticks but the down side is you have to get 1 coal or charcoal first

do buttons still work as blocks that trick mobs? I thought we had to use coral fans?

I spent well over a stack of iron for cauldrons and drip stone spikes for infinite lava for fuel, I think I have 14 and I basically have infinite fuel, for me I seem to never run out, I have more than I need

How could you hold a blaze rod in your offhand though?

I don't think I'll build a fortress farm. Really can't be bothered spawnproofing such a big part of the nether, or figure out those spawn spots. I'll just stick to my lava farm.

Once you get an iron farm going, you'll be drowning in iron anyway.

Dumb question maybe, but why use charcoal to smelt 8 items when the same wood block you used for the charcoal could smelt 12 items if you craft it into slabs first
