He is right! When I asked ChatGPT 4.1 to solve a error it took whole 3 hrs to do and then I asked Claude and it just solved in a hr 😅

claude models are the only ones I can use in cursor. I might have not figured out the reason but every time I switch to gemini or gpt it's so much harder to convey to it what I wanna do. claude gets me 8/10 times spot on

i’m in the same boat as you. claude for general use/coding, gemini flash for products. no one’s even close to beating the multi modality and affordability of gemini flash

I've used ChatGPT since the very first release, but now I use Claude. The quality is really better.
Though I think it mostly depends on the implementation of the coding agent.

it denies too many prompts so I couldn’t use gemini for api calls…denies as in it just says “i can’t generate files” or “I can’t send emails” even though the prompt clearly says it just has to provide the json for the email function to run. Sad cause the pricing is better, but what’s crazy is llama 7b can do it no problem 😅

My default is Gemini because I use a Pixel. But sometimes I hit ChatGPT and Claude.

For coding, I'm assuming you use Cursor (Claude 3.5, 3.7 or 4 or Gemini 2.5 pro).
For LLMs I get that you're using Gemini using the API tokens.
What about daily prompting or trouble shooting done on browsers? Gemini hasn't been as good IMO, plus they always train on your data in free mode. Chatgpt allows you to disable this option even in free mode.

I dont use any model really for coding itself. Just ask open ai occassionally for clarification. As for usage I have been using the openai 4.1 nano model which has given me good results on the api front for chat completions and data extraction using structured outputs. I will admit I hsvent tried using gemini yet but thats because I may be mistaken that I need to set up a google cloud subscription to do so and so I havent bothered and claude, while I hear nice things, is way too expensive for my use cases currently

Why do people rant and rave over gemini, it always has an aneurysm after asking it a simple question. Doesn’t remember shit and especially terrible at coding
