I am sorry. It is not working like that in math. You can't just waived hand say so and so. You didn't apply the definition of normal subgroup correctly. If you want to show that H is normal in G. You take a in H (not in G) and shows that ghg^(-1) is in H for every g in G. Here you just magically say that ghg^(-1) in H without providing any argument whatsoever.

An ideal gas of density rho = 0.2kg * m ^ - 3 enters a chimney of height h at the rate of a = 0.8kg * s ^ - 1 from its lower end, and escapes through the upper end as shown in the figure. The cross-sectional area of the lower end is A_{1} = 0.1m ^ 2 and the upper end is A_{2} = 0.4m ^ 2 The pressure and the temperature of the gas at the lower end are 600 Pa and 300 K, respectively, while its temperature at the upper end is 150 K. The chimney is heat insulated so that the gas undergoes adiabatic expansion. Take g = 10m * s ^ - 2 and the ratio of specific heats of the gas r = 2 Ignore atmospheric pressure
