MAE509 (LMIs in Control): Lecture 15, part A - Intro to Nonlinear Systems, Existence and Uniqueness

We begin our discussion of nonlinear systems by outlining problems which aren't encountered in linear systems such as multiple equilibria, domains of attraction, chaos, etc. We also talk about the basic problem of existence and uniqueness of solutions and give conditions under which the map from initial condition to solution is well-posed.
