ORLEANS Love Takes Time

A #11 pop hit for country-ish pop group Orleans from the Spring of 1979. Orleans are best known for earlier hits 'Dance with me' and 'Still the one', but this uplifting and memorable track still sounds great all these years later. I may have heard it on American Top 40 but it was a no-show downunder (#90) so it must have come into my radius later thanks to a cd from a series of hard to find songs from the 1970's. With their three best loved hits, Orleans have their place in pop music's history.
