I think there should be a "onetrick" tier, as champions like vladimir and rengar are really good to onetrick imo, but really bad to include in your 10+ champ pool

I think for Gwen, if you're GOOD with her, then she's definitely S-tier in low elo. However, just like you said most people won't know how to punish her properly, I think the same can be said for people in low elo not being able to pilot her well enough to climb with. Her kit isn't difficult to understand, but it's rather difficult to execute properly and you need extensive knowledge of all of her match ups to do well. I think she's better suited for high elo than low elo.

I reached Diamond first time in my life today playing mostly Shen and having ~70% wr in 50+ games. I agree, he's doomed when enemy laner has any wave control knowledge, but the global ult is just too op for low (below diamond) elo. I also take tp to follow even more fights. Huge advantage of Shen is that he was useless and only played as top support for like half a year at least which confuses enemies who still consider him only as shield/taunt machine. Most people have no idea how Shen Q works and every hit Q recall is basically a won trade with every toplaner. There's much more that makes him op, but I'm tired of typing. He's also good for learning map control, macro and wave management since every small mistake can be punished.

Putting Rengar top in S-tier for low elo without explaining the skill floor is crazy. Or even putting him together with Riven, Irel, Jayce in C-tier would be accurate imo

I think Lilia deserves to be on the list. She has insane wave clear, has great tempo, outscales pretty much every other toplaner in game, at 2-3 items she is a beast in teamfights. She absolutelly shits on tanks The only problem she has are some duelist lane matchups like fiora and irelia or opressive tops like darius or sett. Great into champs like Ksante sion ornn mundo gwen rumble morde trynda gragas yasuo chogath even olaf since you have so much movements speed you can dodge/ outrun them. You can beat champs like rene, garen and aatrox and illaoi with good spacing. If you learn hard matchups you can neutralize lane and scale freerly

At 39:20 you say you don't get Renekton's low winrates in low elo, but you then pretty much explain why. As Renekton scales badly, and many lower elo games tend to last longer as people struggle to finish quickly, he ends up falling off.

I am a little bit confused about riven bcs on the one hand i can totally see the difficulty about climbing by playing riven but on other hand if i dont try to improve now i wont be able to play riven in higher elo. Plus if u love riven (even though u dont master it) its a little bit hard to resist picking it, you dont feel the same enjoy by playing other champs.

Ryze or cassio top? ( i know they are full scaleing but having decent clear and trade is so op with phaserush they can kite most of the bruisers) i guess not a normal toplane pick ( as a midlaner i played viktor top too, knowledge check is real + the range and minion clear after e upgrade is op, but u die to ganks or you kill them)

I agree with your Poppy placement. I’ve been blind picking her top in silver/gold for a long time now as my main and absolutely can be blind picked, just requires a higher degree of understanding of match ups.

She is incredibly strong early-mid game. As a full tank she deals so much dmg, and bonus resists from w passive give so much free gold in stats it’s nuts. Rivalling Gwen w stats early game and probably surpassing late game just because you permanently have them, don’t need to press w.

Level 1 her q does flat damage +18% enemy max health physical dmg if you hit both sides of the q. 18 percent!
If you snowball ahead and get 3-4 items, you can walk into 3 people and not lose hp while still killing them.

Her real passive, the buckler, gives her a ranged auto attack. Except the game still treats it as a melee attack, meaning you can proc sheen items like divine sunderer and iceborn as well as grasp for full melee damage on a ranged auto. Very useful in lane for easy damage the enemy later often can’t do anything about.

Downside is as you mentioned, hard to carry and more useful in fights than off splitting. You also have to be careful, the longer the game last the less you can bully people as they scale. That said, I’d be interested to see you play Poppy soon.

Kled is AMAZING mid. No mana. Insane mobility/chase. Roaming. Baity, loves 2v2s. His trades ARE his all ins... meaning whatever you do you kind of win... He's most dangerous when he's about to remount

As a zac top main i can confirm this, and add that the champ as a surprisingly high skill ceiling, in lower elos is way easier cause people dont know how to play against but when reaching plat and mainly emerald y need to improve drastically your trade windows timing specially.
And yeah he does fall off hard individually specially if you loose laning phase but tbh honest the strong point of this champ is tf around objectives since y can win a game with one combo alone.
