They Thought They Knew Islam… Then Their Professor Took Them to a Mosque

A group of Christian students from Lewis University, led by their professor, visited our mosque (masjid)—The Muslim Association of Bolingbrook (MAB) in Illinois, USA—during Ramadan 2025. The session was conducted by Dr. Sabeel Ahmed, a well-known Muslim speaker and educator, who explained the Five Pillars of Islam, the Six Articles of Faith, fasting in Ramadan, Hajj, and the daily prayers of Muslims.

This interfaith dialogue was an eye-opening experience where students asked honest questions about Islam, Sunni and Shia, the Quran, Prophet Muhammad, and more.
