Not only ferrite do this. Some time capacitor and inductor also do the same job. This components are selected based on the frequency of noise. There are two different types of noise is there. Common mode noise and differential mode noise. Ferrite core will be used in cable. This capacitor and inductors will be used in the electronic board level.

As well I have one doubt, how cable acts as antenna and receive the signal from mobie ?
Bz signal is travelling in the closed path inside the cable. So, how those signal comes into their path?

First question:
Why while hearing songs in our mobile headphones if some other mobile comes nearby with ringing calls or talking over a call not creating any noise, there is ferrite beeds in the headphones right?

Second question:
Also ferrite means fe2o3 or rust of iron right? How it becomes porcelain/peengaan?
