SAE - FSAE Engine Dynamometer

Показать описание
Currently, there is no way for the Formula SAE team to assess engine performance and collect valuable engine data, such as the torque and horsepower at given RPMs. Furthermore, the only period the team can attempt to test performance is while the engine is in the vehicle during late spring and this testing is not quantitative. The objective of this project was to design an engine dynamometer able to couple with a variety of powersports engines and capable of testing up to 100HP. The design would allow the team to collect quantitative data from the engine at a full range of engine RPM operating range without the engine in the car. This will provide the capability of tuning the engine to maximum performance while designing/building the race car chassis.

Great work! Where did you get that 3d model of the eddy brake? Been trying to find it for forever but no luck 🥲🥲
