Dyno Testing the Formula SAE car at Ida Automotive. Since this video, the engine has been tuned correctly at the low RPM's so that we are not experiencing the shakiness seen at the beginning of the run. Reached about 140mph this run.

Though it sounds like i was doing WOT shifts, i was pulling off the throtle in between shifts but not completely bc the engine was missing a proper tune under 5k still hence the crappy start on the dyno...

I was just doing a pull to see peak hp and peak mph but in between shifts as you can see I had plenty of time to screw around with the camera and take pics of the speedo. Fire safety equipment not really needed there since its the same as running a motorcycle on a dyno...

What is the guy in the car doing, with the camera? Was this just a dyno pull, and not used to tune? It might also be a good idea for anyone in the car to be wearing full race gear, in the event of fuel fire. I suppose you don't need a helmet, but fireproof clothing would be handing.
