"The concept of making covers, and I'm not trying to in any way... All the songs that we've ever covered have been subpar songs that we wanted to fix. But sometimes when you decide to cover something, at least in my world, at least in my head, in my heart, I feel that I need to do something to them that either puts it forward in terms of sound - it could be something that's simple - or there's some sort of skewing with it.

If you played in a heavier metal band, you have played Metallica songs. That's rudimentary. But ever since, I haven't sort of played that in bands simply because it's all almost holy ground in the sense that their songs are so done. They are complete. They're like Stanley Kubrick films of metal. You don't do a remake of 'Shining.' I know that one exists but you don't do that. And you don't fuck around with their tracks. So halfway through the conversation upon just being asked the question, I was like, 'God, what am I gonna do?'

You were kinda wanting them to just replicate the original and there's absolutely no point in doing that, since the original exists and it's out there. The whole point was to cover it putting their own style without completly twisting the essence of the song and that said, they did it just PERFECTLY.

Tbh I like this version better than the original, but I'm hella autistic and live and breathe everything Ghost related so I'm a little biased. I like the smoother vocals better along with the instrumentals for the most part, mainly bc of the piano. But it's neat seeing other people's thoughts and also really funny seeing how you reacted at the beginning 💀💀💀

enter sandman is one of my all time favorite songs. ghost has been my favorite band for the last 6+years. i love what they've done with it. i love the keyboard weaving in and out of the tune. they played it when i saw them last winter. the crowd went nuts.

Cool cover. Some songs can't be made better but one can try to make a cool cover. I think Ghost succeeded in doing a cool cover.
Like Steve'n'Seagull's (what ever their name is) cover of AC/DC's Thunderstruck. That's a cool cover too but the song is already perfect.

It's a nice cover, but i wish his voice could've been a bit more raspy in some parts. Great reaction tho. Also you should check out the LiLiac cover too 👍.
