I have been a Metallica fan since 1986 and this cover is among the best I have heard. Cookie cutter musicians can parrot someone else's original all day long, but when a musician can take a cover tune, make it their own while still maintaining the integrity of the original, that is genius.
Bravo to The Warning.

For the people not liking this cover because it's not like the original, that is what Metallica wanted. This is from Rolling Stone: “We said, ‘Pick a song. Do what you want with it. If you want to play it backwards or turn it on its head, we respect and appreciate it.’ ” — Lars Ulrich

For those of you new to The Warning- you would love seeing their videos from when their weren’t even 10 years old. I can’t remember the YouTube video- but you just have to love how they developed their talents and are so close as sisters but share the limelight. I have three daughters and love seeing that bond. We haven’t even seen even the best from The Warning- no doubt we will be loving their music for decades.

first time listening to The Warning on Spotify and when this song came up, I immediately stopped what I'm doing. This is a very creative cover and very good execution. I'll be front row when you're in my area. 🔥🤘

Holding off on the main Enter Sandman riff and turning it into a half-time breakdown at the end is actually genius

I’m addicted to Alessia Cara’s voice. I had no idea who she is till my daughters were like “ oh yeah we know her. She is awesome.” Have you other Gen Xer’s checked out her independent stuff. Plus her “ singing impersonations on Jimmy Fallon.”
Between these three super talented sisters and Alessia, I can’t say “ no good music since the 90’s”.

A Mexican band featuring a Canadian singer doing a cover of a song by an American band.

Doesn't get more North America than this. 🇨🇦🇺🇲🇲🇽

I would not have said "Enter Sandman" needed another cover. But WOW. This is not just another cover! Made it their own! Most excellent!

This is not a cover so much as a complete and amazing re-imagination of one of the greatest songs of all time by a fantastic new band.

I love this cover! I wonder how Lars feels about it?

I just discovered The Warning yesterday and I've been down the rabbit hole ever since....awesome talent!

I don't usually like covers much, when a new interpretation is recorded but wow, THIS is a definite exception. I'm only two years behind discovering this but glad I did. I worked on the air in radio well over a decade during the original's era, both in rock and classic rock, and loved the original when it was released. This is equally outstanding!

I actually saw this band live on Instagram and they played this. Now seeing this video. As a true Metallica fan I have to say. They absolutely nailed it!

This isn't really Metallica anymore. Which is a good thing - too many covers try to out-do the original.. it's never gonna work.
Made it your own track and it's a good track.

Just saw them in Baltimore, MD for their Error tour with Plush and Holy Wars. It was my first time seeing them and definitely won't be my last. They blew me away! Keep crushing it!

Okay, for anyone that has played a guitar for a good bit…..that fucking verse riff she’s playing is not easy. And then, AND FUCKING THEN, she sings the way she sings whilst playing it. Been long time since I heard a song that personified the very concept of what music is. I just saw this band live tonight, and they sound this good live. They were crazy fucking good. Now I’m here.
